With the first days of summer meandering past, I'm feeling the magic of warm weather in Rochester. Summers in Upstate New York (almost) make you forget the harsh days of Winter. This is the time of year when people eat at sidewalk tables, walk their dogs during sunset, stroll by the lake, enjoy the many festivals, and simply come alive again. So, in the spirit of Rochester summers, I thought it would be fun to do a blog series on some of my favorite photo locations in the city and surrounding area.
Of all the many wonderful photo locations in this city, the George Eastman Museum holds a special place in Rochester's story. The inside is full of fascinating history and beautiful rooms, memorializing the life of George Eastman, of course. But what captures my heart the most is the outside. Take a stroll around the large, elegant building, and you will find carefully designed gardens full of lovely flowers and plants. These details, along with the stunning hardscaping, make this location a dream for portrait sessions.
No matter the season, the George Eastman Museum is a lovely location for any type of photo session. From senior portraits to engagement, we can create your special memories at this landmark.
