Living in Upstate New York is not always easy, but these sweet summers make every cold month worth it. There is something magical about a fleetingly warm season. This is why I soak up every ounce of sunshine and time outside that I can.
This year, photo sessions have been a big part of that process. I am so grateful to the couples and families who I've photographed so far. Each of these sessions has immersed us in the outdoors while we run around and create memories. Sounds fun, right?
Well, my session with Alicia and Vladimir was especially fun. Because they were awesome to work with, yes. But also because they brought their two beautiful pugs with them! I am a huge animal lover, so I welcome any opportunity to play with dogs.
We spent a sunny afternoon in Rochester's Highland Park, capturing sweet moments and enjoying some fresh air. The pugs were so well-behaved and posed perfectly for the camera. They also waited patiently while I snapped some shots of their gorgeous owners. I'm excited to share some of my favorite images from this portrait collection with you all.
This session was so full of goodness, and I still feel joy looking at the images. Alicia and Vladimir happen to be ballroom dancers and studio owners in addition to being pug paw-rents. You can check out their gorgeous studio space here!
